ERT Search & Rescue

 Each month we shall profile a member of ERT Search & Rescue.

OPERATIONAL MEMBER AMY BRODDLE  This month's profile of a member is AMY BRODDLE.  Amy is a Volcanologist (The branch of geology that studies volcanoes and nothing to do with Star Trek!) and has an MSc in the Science of Natural Hazards.  She has been with ERT SAR for two years.She has traveled on studies and expeditions all over the world and is a valued member of the team. GROUP LEADER DAVID JOBSON David Jobson is a former Royal Marine Commando spending nearly 10 years in the Her Majesty's Services and has also deployed with ERT SAR on major emergencies around the world including the UK Floods and the earthquakes in Pakistan.  He is valued leader with the organisation and a valuable member of the team.(Aug 2009)

GROUP LEADER CLIVE FRANCIS who has been with ERT SAR since 2003.  Clive spent 23 years in The Royal Air Force with almost 10 years spent in the RAF Regiment. He brings a weallth of knowledge and usable skills and is one of our Group Leaders.  Clive deployed with us to Sri Lanka as part of our tsunami response following the tsunami in the Indian Ocean: Boxing Day 04. (July 2009)

"Dr D" - Dr Dimuthu Smaranayake is a General Practitioner with Special Interest in Pre Hospital Emergency Care.  He is the Medical Advisor and Police Doctor for Tactical Firearms Support Unit.  He is also the Chief Medical Officer North Gloucester Motorcycle Race Club.  He is also a Forensic Medical Examiner.
